Terrell Owens Begs the Jets for a job via twitter after their 23-17 loss to the Houston Texans Monday night. The Jets top three receivers are all out for the 2012 season due to injuries, which led to the Jets rocky beginning.
Knowing the facts, the former football player pitched an idea to the team via twitter saying, "Hey Jets!!! I'm available! I'm ready, willing, and able! Call my agent @Jordanwoy & let's make it happen."
Owen was released by the Seattle Seahawks back on August 26. The last time Owen caught an NFL pass was in 2010 when he played for the Cincinnati Bengals. ESPN's Cris Carter backed the troubled athlete on Tuesday morning on the Mike &Mike show saying, "There's no way the receivers the Jets put on the field last night are better than Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens, or Plaxico Burress," ESPN's Cris Carter said on the "Mike and Mike" show Tuesday morning. "Now, what they have decided to do for some reason is to put a team of receivers on the field who cannot help the quarterback. They do not have a go-to guy, and with Santonio hurt, that shouldn't be your only option at wide receiver."
The once NFC champion had a VH1 reality TV show "The TO Show" with his now estranged friends Kita Williams and Monique Jackson. His show had two seasons and showed the athlete struggle with his love life, finances, and career. The athlete is now claiming that he lost $80 million that he made during his NFL career, and is back in forth to court over child support for his four children.
Hopefully someone picks him up soon. Does anyone think he has at least two more NFL seasons in him?
