Cleyed, the one-eyed cyclops kitten died after birth, however it is leaving a legacy with a video that has quickly gone viral. "RIP Beautiful Cleyed, May You Touch Many Hearts" was posted on Youtube four days ago and already has over 55,000 views. and has since has become a viral sensation. Although the rare Bengal could not survive, the rare wonder of a one-eyed kitten has captured the hearts of thousands.

We have a Bengal cat that was pregnant and only a day past her due date. On Thursday October 4th 2012 I brought her into our vet and I am SO Glad that I did, We have an amazing veterinarian who did the C-Section procedure and if she didn't..... Mamma Kitty would be dead now.

The message that was posted along with the video read:

"All of us in the operating room experienced a VERY RARE once in a lifetime (Hopefully) kitten births. To start off, both horns of the uterus were twisted together THREE times. After untwisting the horns our veterinarian started the surgery and she removed the first baby, the baby was handed to me and I started drying her off. A vet tech came in and I handed her the first baby and got the second kitten that our vet removed.... "

"WOW!!!! He floored me, I was in shock as I have only seen a picture of a Cyclops kitten like this ONCE ever... and that was on the internet. He was born alive and survived only a short time. This was a horribly sad experience, but very intriguing to us all."

"A short bit after Cleyed was delivered, the third baby was removed and she was a beautiful healthy baby."

"Mom and the two girls are doing WONDERFUL......" the message concluded.

Cat lovers around the world shared their heartfelt condolences. Some not so friendly folks also posted on the messages.

"Thank you for sharing this precious little life. Sometimes the briefest candles burn the brightest and change the world. Run free now, little one, go play with the angels," one user named helprpets wrote on the video comments.

"ok honestly, this video made me sick, i understand you wanted to show that this kitten wqaqs real, but it clearly looks like its not alive and the way u keep holding it and batting it around made me so sad and angry that you would even record this," another user wrote.

"Ohhh So sadd and unbeliavable : ((((((( i start cry when i see this and listen the song : (((((((((((," was another reaction of another user.

"Due to all the genetic manipulation and inbreeding it takes to make this breed I'm surprised these types of mutations don't happen more often," another user wrote.

What do you think of the video?
