This is definitely one heck of a cast! The Real Housewives of New York have one of the biggest casts for their upcoming seventh season with eight ladies all getting ready for their close ups. While viewers will see returning members of the Bravo family including Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, LuAnn De Lessep, Carole Radziwill, Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson and the much anticipated homecoming of Bethenny Frankel, they will also have newbie Dorinda Medley to get acquainted with when the new season stars this April.
So who is the new girl who is going to be rubbing elbows with Singer, Frankel, and Morgan?
Well, according to People, the rookie apparently likes "to see a good argument between two people," so we know at least she'll be delivering on the drama.
Bravo TV just premiered the season seven trailer earlier today, and boy is their a big helping of drama.
The star opened up in a new interview with the New York Post, where she revealed that she was brought onto the series by longtime friends Ramona and LuAnn.
"I live on the Upper East Side, and it's a small fishbowl up here. I am not going to be that ball of yarn that came out of nowhere," the 50-year-old reality star explained. "I know these girls. I know their world. I've even done a few cameos. So I thought, why not give it a try and see if it is something that suits me?"
And it seems like this life will definitely suit her, as she also told the new site that she sees herself as being the "life of the party until my last breath."
We think this rookie will do just fun amongst the girls. The seventh season of The Real Housewives of New York will kick off on April 7 at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
