'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Fighting Mad Against Fake Engagement Rumors: Find Out What The MTV Star Has To Say About Wedding Plans, Ex Gary Shirley!

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is combating against those who say she faked her engagement to fiancé Matt Baier just for MTV cameras. Now, the reality star is talking about how this relationship is different than her toxic one with baby daddy Gary Shirley and when she is planning for the wedding.

"My life now with my new fiancé is amazing and our relationship is completely different than what mine and Gary's was," the MTV mom told E! News. "There's not really fighting or anything like that. It's not perfect, but we're so happy together. I never thought I could find another man that could make me feel love again, honestly. I feel more love for him than I ever have for anybody."

And what about what her daughter Leah thinks of her beau? "Boo Boo loves him. They have this natural connection. How? I have no clue. But it's just amazing to me because I was really scared that, 'What if Boo Boo doesn't like him?'"

Teen Mom fans are desperate for the reality mom to walk down the aisle after kicking a drug habit that led to her spending 17 months in prison. However, it's too soon to tell exactly when that will happen.

"We know it's gonna be within the year," she said. "We just moved in together a couple months ago, so we really want to learn everything about each other and live this life right now and just make sure everything's straight before we jump the gun on something because obviously, we didn't know each other that long before we got engaged, but we do know we love each other so much and we don't want anybody else in the world, so we are sure we will be married. We just don't know when."

As MStars News reported, ever since it was revealed that Amber got engaged, she has had to defend herself against reports it was just staged for the reality show that made her famous.

"The proposal was all for show," a source told Radar Online. "He doesn't have that kind of money."

"They have a very tumultuous relationship," the source continued. "They get into big fights and Matt says he's moving out. But then hours later, they act like everything is fine."
