We had a feeling that this was coming. Derick Dillard came under fire from fans after a video emerged of him trying to run over a cat on a sled. The 19 Kids & Counting star was enjoying a snow day in his home state of Arkansas, where he and some of his in-laws decided to go sledding down the hill in front of the family's house. But when he purposely tried to run over a cat in the front yard, followers were outraged. Well, now it looks like PETA is getting involved in Jill Duggar's husband's questionable behavior as it issued a grievance against that reality star. It wants an apology for the Instagram video.
The organization released a letter to Dillard March 4 in regards to the video he posted to his Instagram account.

"In response to the video you posted on your Instagram account on March 1, which depicts you apparently purposely sledding directly into an unsuspecting cat," Sarah Withrow King, director of Christian outreach and engagement at PETA, explained in the letter via Us Weekly, adding, "almost more disturbing than your enjoyment in it was your family's."
In the video, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are encouraging Derick to aim for the cat with Ben even giving him a push to start things off.
King also spoke out to Radar Online about the TLC family's behavior in the video, saying she's expecting him to issue a public apology.
"Might doesn't make right, but that's the message Derick Dillard sent to scores of impressionable young children," King wrote. "PETA is asking him to apologize publicly for his actions and remind his followers that Jesus's command to 'do unto others' includes all of God's creatures."
Dillard has yet to release an apology regarding his actions.
