The Rolling Stones are back, and their new single "Doom and Gloom" was released on Thursday as a little rock 'n' roll treat from the highly-anticipated upcoming 2012 studio album, "GRRR! Greatest Hits" (out November 13). The track may not compare to some Stones classics such as "Brown Sugar" or "Gimme Shelter," but Keith Richards' gritty guitar riffs and Mick Jagger's dark and booming vocals are still just as exciting nonetheless. Continue reading to listen to the debut of "Doom and Gloom" and rock on.

"Doom and Gloom" is the Stones' first single since 2006's "Biggest Mistake," and "GRRR!" is the band's first studio album since 2005's "A Bigger Bang." Along with this new greatest hits record, the Rolling Stones celebrate their 50th anniversary this year with a memorabilia book and two documentaries ("Crossfire Hurricane" and "Charlie Is My Darling -- Ireland 1965"). Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood also plan on hitting the road for an upcoming concert tour - lots of things for Stones fans to get amped about! And to keep the party going, introducing "Doom and Gloom":

Jagger's lyrics are still dreamy with a reminiscent verve of some classic Stones' tunes such as 1981's "Start Me Up." The 69-year-old frontman croons in the chorus: "All I hear is doom and gloom, all is darkness in my room. Through the light your face I see. Baby take a chance, baby won't you dance with me?"

The 50-track, three disc "GRRR!" album will include another fresh Stones track entitled "One More Shot" plus a number of Stones favorites including "Get Off of My Cloud," Paint It, Black," and "Sympathy for the Devil." The album will be available in regular edition as well as an 80-track (with vinyl and bonus discs) "super deluxe" version. Check out the full track listing below. Are Stones fans excited for the band's first album in seven years, due out in November?
