Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo is about to make her triumphant return to the TV screen, but while fans have been anxiously awaiting the big-haired psychic's comeback, it seems that critics are less than pleased to see the TLC star's return. Not only has Caputo been at the center of multiple reports claiming that she is a fake and fraud, but it seems that some of her celebrity clients are not fans, including Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen and even Howards Stern.
On the heels of her new season premiere on TLC, Radar Online has compiled a list of people that the star has rubbed the wrong way. One of those people being Anderson Cooper, who admits that he is extremely skeptical of what Caputo makes her living doing.
"I'm pretty skeptical about this Long Island Medium stuff," Cooper explained during an after-show interview. "There's a lot you can say to a room of 300 people... Somebody here has ashes of a loved one, there's a pretty good chance somebody has a piece of jewelry with some ashes in it. People so want to believe in things... but I want to see actual proof."
Theresa also made an enemy in Howard Stern who actually banned her from appearing on his Sirius XM show after she made some crazy demands that she needed an hour alone with the guests before appearing on air.
"We're not interested in leaving people alone with the Long Island psychic for 45 minutes," the radio host explained. "She's never coming in here... It's never going to happen. The Long Island psychic is not a psychic."
Andy Cohen even spoke about his disbelief of Caputo's abilities in his 2009 novel, The Andy Cohen Diaries, where he explained to the psychic that he wanted to talk to his deceased friend, Natasha Richardson, during Caputo's appearance on Watch What Happens Live. However, he said that end result was "a lot of fishing."
