'Suits' Season 4 Finale Spoilers: Twitter Reacts To Gabriel Macht, Sarah Rafferty Shocker! [WATCH]

The Season 4 finale of Suits ended on USA Network with a major cliffhanger. Twitter had so much to say as fans watched Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) deal with a major bombshell by the person he least expected, his most loyal secretary, Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty).

In our previous recap, Harvey went up against Terrence Wolf (Chi McBride) to save Donna from being charged with felony fraud. Knowing where to put the money in the right hands, Harvey was able to make the case go away for Donna. After sharing a few drinks, Donna was left standing shocked and speechless as Harvey revealed he loved her and walked out of her apartment.

In our recent recap, Donna wanted more from Harvey but he wasn't willing to risk their relationship. While Mike (Patrick J. Adams) proposed to Rachel (Meghan Markle), Donna announced she was leaving Harvey and joining Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) as his secretary. Unable to convince to stay with him, the last thing Donna said to Harvey was "I love you."

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Aaron Korsh discusses the scene "In my head, when it was originally written, I thought she was maybe going to read it as a 'f-k you' to him. And then Gabriel [Macht] and Sarah [Rafferty] had takes on it. I think Gabriel's opinion was if she gives it to Harvey as a 'f-k you,' that it makes her weak. I said, 'I don't disagree with that. But I also think it makes her human.'"

Korsh continues, "But she ended up reading it, in my mind, as... His "You know I love you" was a little bit out of pity and discomfort and trying to make her feel better. Hers seemed like she took the high road, like it really was, 'Harvey, I'm doing this because, for once, I need to look after me instead of you. But I do love you.' Like it really was meant to be kind."
