In order to be one of Victoria's Secret models, your body has to be fit in order to star in the catalogues and be seen by many in the broadcast specials. In the March 2015 issue of Self Magazine, Victoria's Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel reveals her daily workout routine to staying hot and in shape.
From the official Self site, the 26-year-old fashion model reveals how she began the discipline and dedication from her early childhood. After growing up on a beef-and-dairy farm in South Africa, the 15-year-old was plucked from obscurity at a local flea market. During the next two years, the teen model was walking runway shows for major designers, including Dolce & Gabbana.
Swanepoel reveals, "I saw my dad wake up at 4 every morning to milk the cows. I'd put on my overalls and gum boots and follow him around. Growing up surrounded by so much life and death and realness shaped my personality. Africa is not for wussies. It's in our culture to be hard workers."
