Adam Carolla is certainly no stranger to controversy. The comedian has been rather outspoken in the past about defending what he does for a living and what he says, amid both his own public controversies as well as his peers. Having been slapped with allegations of "anti-LGBT" and "homophobic" and racists jokes in the past, Carolla now admits that he's "done apologizing" for them. He's done it in the past and no longer feels he has the desire or need to because he is a comedian. In a new interview with HuffPost Live, Carolla sat down to discuss his latest film Road Hard. And unsurprisingly, they ended up talking more about the former issue as opposed to the movie.
On what he has to say about the Calling Out Carolla Tumblr blogs and others who believe he's told racist, homophobic and offensive jokes in the past, the comedian-podcaster urged them to, "Go find a politician or somebody who's in change and poke a popsicle stick up their butt."
He later noted that he's a comedian, and while the masses of comics out there have had to apologize for things they've said, they're just faking it.
"They're only doing it because they're gonna get canned," he commented.
