'RHONJ' Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice Prison Time: Family Feud Over, Talks to Her Sister-in-Law While Behind Bars

There once was a time when the feud between the Giudices and the Gorgas was the most epic dispute in all reality TV, but it seems that the families have since put all the fighting to bed and are focused on a rebuilding their relationship. While RHONJ star Teresa Giudice is spending the next 13 months behind bars, it seems her brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, are more supportive of the star and her family than ever.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens: Live, Melissa spoke out about the status of her relationship with Giudice.

"She's doing well. She's doing really good," the star explained to Cohen, when asked about how Teresa was dealing with her time in prison.

As far as how Teresa is keeping in contact with her in-laws, Melissa said that she has reached out to Giudice through letters while the inmate has talked to her brother on the phone.

"I have written to her and she has spoken to her brother on the phone," the star explained, adding that the whole thing has been difficult for Ter's husband Joe Giudice to deal with, according to E! News.

"It's heavy on his heart," Melissa said while getting emotional, telling Cohen that Joe has taken on the roles that Teresa used to hold, such as driving the girls to school every morning.

"It's heartwarming to see him," the Real Housewives of New Jersey star said. "He's manning up and doing what he has to do. I see him drive the girls every morning."

The news site is reporting that Teresa is also getting in the best shape of her life since starting to work out three times a day while in prison.

"She says [exercise] helps her sleep," an insider explained. "She does cardio, bikes, weights and even Pilates. She does not miss a day, she does it religiously. She is extremely fit right now."
