Looks like things on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales are getting pretty interesting. After you shake yourselves out of the state of shock at reading that they're making yet another Pirates film, take a minute to read the report of a man who decided to make the new Johnny Depp film very interesting and very literal. It's being reported that a man dressed as a pirate threatened a security guard on set with a knife... and a parrot.
Reports from Local 9 state that authorities have yet to find the man who attempted to get on set during the Queensland shoot. Police spokesman Des Lacy told reporters, "It doesn't surprise me, when you see the characters we've got on the Gold Coast, people will try anything to be a part of the movies."
The Hollywood Reporter notes that the man was seen with a parrot on his shoulder, but no one could verify whether the parrot was real or fake. But can we all agree that we really, really hope it was real?
While they haven't been able to catch the wannabe Captain Jack Sparrow, police have released a photograph of him... with the parrot, which is probably fake.
Take a look here.
