Pretty Little Liars season 5 is winding down and you know what that means -- we are even closer to the "Big A" reveal. However, we don't know if we can handle all the suspense surrounding the last couple of episodes, especially with Alison and Hanna's murder trial playing a big role in the last few moments of the season. Tonight's all-new episode, titled, "The Melody Lingers," will focus around Ali's court hearing and from what we can tell, the former leader of the liars is starting to feel the stress.
As mentioned by Christian Post, Entertainment Focus reported that the trial will implicate not only Alison but also her former friends. The "testimony reveals not only her lies but the lies of those close to her," the site explained.
The episode will also follow Hanna's besties Emily, Spencer and Aria, as well as her boyfriend Caleb, as they try to find any evidence to clear Hanna's name and get her out of jail. After 'A' erased all the girls' phones, wiping out an evidence in the process, it doesn't seem that the girls know where to turn to find some incriminating details linking 'A' to the crimes.
However, according to TV Line, Spencer does know something and is about to drop a bombshell before Alison's trial. The news site posted a sneak peek video from tonight's all-new episode which shows Spencer confronting Jason and Ali's father, hoping to give them some proof of Alison's innocence, but it doesn't seem that either of them are too eager to listen to their neighbor.
Fans will have to tune in tonight to see if Spencer has any luck of getting the information out before Alison is charged with a crime that she didn't commit.
Pretty Little Liars airs on Tuesday at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
