Several big-name artists within the hip-hop industry want nothing to do with Lil Wayne's ongoing Cash Money feud involving Birdman. Hopefully the entire situation eventually works itself out, and everyone can just move-on as friends again!
"Type Of Way" rapper Rich Homie Quan would rather focus on his own blossoming music career and ignore the constant drama. In a recent interview with Montreality while performing in Canada, Quan explained:
"I can only speak for myself because I try not to get into their business... It doesn't exist to me. I have no problems with Wayne I pray both of them get through whatever they are going through... Other than that, I've just been focusing on myself" (via The Source).
Wonder if Weezy feels that most of his supporters (including loyal proteges) are now turning their backs during this troubling time?
But no worries - the New Orleans emcee isn't slowing down anytime soon. Hopefully the highly-anticipated #FreeWeezy album hits airwaves sometime later this month. But is The Carter V superstar now a little too focused on the success of his skateboarding career over rap?
Maybe fellow YMCMB hypeman Drake can pick-up the slack. The release of Drizzy's surprise mixtape compilation It You're Reading This, It's Too Late garnered huge success. The T.I.G Entertainment emcee is a huge fan:
"I keep hearing it everywhere I go... Drake is one of the best and one of my idols also," Quan revealed. "Drake's the truth."
Do MstarsNews fans agree - is Drizzy's fame finally surpassing Weezy's?
Quan's rather close with the Cash Money crew - he appeared on the hit 2014 Rich Gang track, "Lifestyle" -
