Several fans consider Jennifer Lawrence an American sweetheart. But according to fellow actress Chloe Sevigny, the "Hunger Games" beauty actually represents the exact opposite!
In a recent interview with V magazine, the renowned fashion designer expressed her blunt opinions on what makes a "profitable personality" in Hollywood. According to 40-year-old Sevigny:
"So much is about marketing and selling the product... They'll have a really peppy funny girl on the talk show rounds, and everybody adores her and loves her and wants to be her or f*ck her, and then so many more people want to watch the movie or TV show. I understand that star quality - how much value that carries."
Good point - and that's why Sevigny respects women who are actually successful AND talented within the industry (via GossipCop.com):
"I love when a movie star is a great movie star. I think Angelina Jolie is a great movie star. I don't think I can be that, or just be an actor. I don't think I have the charisma. Which is probably why I never reached another level. I like Emma Stone. Whenever she's herself, she's really cute.
So... where does that leave J-Law?
"Jennifer Lawrence I find annoying," Sevigny reveals. "Too crass."
Wow - do MstarsNews readers somewhat agree?
Most Twitter fans don't and they began hatefully mocking Sevigny on the popular social networking site:
@nadia_wot: "I think Chloe Sevigny has a death wish. She dissed Jennifer Lawrence. I guess no one told her that's taboo :(."
@WarrenHolstein: "Chloe Sevigny says Jennifer Lawrence is 'annoying.' JLaw says 'at least I didn't blow Vincent Gallo onscreen in 'The Brown Bunny.''"
@someecards: "Chloe Sevigny called JLaw 'annoying,' so as punishment we're not including her umlaut..."
@BugMartini: "Chloe Sevigny calls Jennifer Lawrence annoying and crass. In other news, the Hulk claims that Captain America has anger issues."
@heatworld: "Chloe Sevigny is irritated by Jennifer Lawrence, much in the way we hate, say, late buses."
Don't mess with Team Katniss Everdeen!
