Weird things continue happening at Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion, lately.
Just a few weeks ago, authorities were called to locate a suspicious "lurker" allegedly creeping around Weezy's vacation home. Oddly enough, the man disappeared before cops even arrived, and the rather bizarre situation was later resolved as a misunderstanding.
Some fans assumed that the "Lollipop" rapper was harmed during this incident, but he wasn't even around when it happened!
But on Wednesday (March 11), things got even crazier.
According to the popular gossip webloid TMZ, the police were called AGAIN - and this time, the urgency was a lot more serious.
The unidentified caller claimed that they "intended to start a firefight with officers" within the home - and that four individuals were already shot and injured.
Details surronding this shocking incident still remain unconfirmed. Authorities immediately secured a perimeter around Weezy's luxurious home on La Gorce Island. But the area has since been cleared and ultimately deemed a false alarm:
@MiamiBeachPD: "#UPDATE unfortunately this appears to be a "Swatting" call. No victims /no injuries /no subject at 94 LaGorce... MBPD handles all calls of this nature in a serious manner . In this case it appears to have be a hoax @ #LiLWaynes home . #Swatting."
Apparently yet another disturbing incident of celebrity "swatting." Reports are still developing.
But yet again, #RIPWeezy began trending on Twitter. Just so all readers know - The Carter V emcee is safe and okay! Apparently he's currently in Miami, but again wasn't home when police were initially called. The official YMCMB crew later tweeted:
@YoungMoneySite: "Wayne is okay. Wasn't home during alleged events."
Mack Maine also managed to calm some fans:
@mackmaine: "Everybody good on our side... thanks for the concern."
So don't keep these false tweets going:
@RealPaulJohnson: "Smh a day after Biggie... Lil Wayne really one of the greatest... #RIP."
@OliverGuardDog: "RIP Lil Wayne @LilTunechi #ymcmb."
@brautlacht: "Sources confirm that Lil Wayne has passed away. RIP #LilWayne."
@gopherballs: "rip lil wayne - prayers to big wayne."
@Bryzness: "RIP Lil Wayne wow."
Whether legit or not, this is still a rather serious situation - no humor can really be found in such a bogus (and revamped) death hoax. Want more proof that Weezy's still alive? According to TMZ:
11:35 AM PT - Wayne posted a photo minutes ago from a recording studio.
Keep an eye on he "Only" crooner's official Twitter, too.
Meanwhile, Wayne's ongoing beef with Birdman and Cash Money Records continues, simply adding more fuel to the fire:
