The second presidential debate 2012 time is scheduled for tonight (October 16) at 9:00 p.m. eastern time with the live stream video broadcast starting at 8:00 p.m. eastern time. It will be Democratic President Barack Obama vs Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
Romney clearly won the debate in the first presidential debate. Obama is expected to be more"aggressive" and "energetic" in tonight's debate compared to his previous "polite" demeanor.
Candy Crowley of CNN will act as moderator for this debate. Questions will be chosen from the undecided voters in the audience chosen by Gallup.
In the town hall style format expected tonight, both candidates will need to connect and relate to the 80-member audience as best as they can.
Each of them will have two minutes to respond to each question as Crowley facilitates the discussion. The entire debate is schedule to last for 90 minutes just like the previous debates.
The town hall format can be quite difficult and politicians of the past have struggled. This format is helpful for winning the votes of undecided voters and both Romney and Obama will need to step it up.
