The Philadelphia Eagles and especially coach Chip Kelly have been causing quite the commotion over the last week or two, sending plenty of fans into a state of suspense after a crazy NFL trading shuffle. For new players and draft picks, Kelly has ditched star players like QB Nick Foles, RB LeSean McCoy, and WR Jeremy Maclin among other decisions. Though he picked up injury prone quarterback Sam Bradford and running back Ryan Matthews, Philadelphia is today (March 12, 2015) meeting with Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray, who apparently reached out to the Eagles earlier this week. The top running back in the NFL, Murray would be a great addition to his former league rivals, but will this trade rumors play out and will fans accept the star player?

While the trade itself is simply speculation at this point, Murray is indeed meeting with Kelly and the Eagles today, adding fuel to the free agent's contract fire he's scorching with the Cowboys. This might be a negotiation tactic as many sources, such as NFL Media's Albert Breer, claim Murray is hoping to remain in Dallas.
Meanwhile, the Eagles' new quarterback, Sam Bradford has a strong history with the top RB, as they attended Oklahoma together and were roommates while playing for the college football team. According to reports, Bradford and Murray's friendship is still strong, with the new Eagle apparently trying to convince DeMarco to sign on, too.
"You know, I called him, I texted him, I've done everything," Bradford said, according to NFL's Colleen Wolfe. "You know, we've been in communication. If we can somehow land him, it would be a great pickup. Not only is he a great player, he's a great person. He's a really close friend of mine, too. I think he can really help this ball club."
