We've been covering the new horror film It Follows ever since we first heard about it, and this weekend marks its official release. In this highly anticipated film, writer/director David Robert Mitchell tells a horrifying tale of a young girl that transmits the worst kind of STD after an innocent night of passion: a curse! What we'll see in theaters this weekend is the main character falling deeper and deeper into paranoia as she experiences visions of has the overwhelming fear of someone - or something- watching her at all times. Another film that we've been covering a lot over the months is definitely on the opposite end of the movie spectrum. Disney's newest live-action adaptation of Cinderella comes from director Kenneth Branagh, exploring the magical world of the fairy tale in a new ambitious take. Starring Lily James, Richard Madden, Helena Bonham Carter, Cate Blanchett and more, this movie has been receiving some positive reviews, making it a great choice for the theater! Liam Neeson stars in a brand new crime drama entitled Run All Night, which follows a father that has some unlawful connections with criminals (Ed Harris) that takes high risks to protect his son (Joel Kinnaman). The newest movie from funnyman Adam Sandler is The Cobbler, which also opens this weekend. As a struggling shoe repairman that is simply carrying on his family's legacy, life isn't too great. Fortunately, a bit of magic comes into play with a special sewing machine found in his store's basement that allows him to become the person whose shoes he's working on!
