It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Tampa Bay Lightning battle it out on the ice against the Boston Bruins in Week 22 of the 2014-2015 regular season on Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. EST at the TD Garden in Massachusetts. Heading into the final weeks of the regular season, the Lightning snag the impressive No. 8 spot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 42-20-6 record:
"The Bolts play the Habs three times this month as the two teams battle for supremacy in the Atlantic, starting Tuesday night in Montreal. Tampa is 2-0-0 against the Canadiens this season."
Tampa Bay remains 2nd in the Atlantic Division.
Meanwhile, the Bruins currently hold the steady No. 16 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 34-22-10 record. Boston is 4th in the Atlantic Division. According to LeBrun:
"Huge, huge, huge statement this weekend with home wins over the Flyers and Red Wings. Have the Bruins turned the corner?"
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels SunS, NESN, and TVA, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 620 WDAE, WGN, Sports Hub 98.5, and ESPN 101.3.
