Bristol Palin and partner Mark Ballas were booted from the popular ABC dance competition "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" on Tuesday evening in week 5 of the fierce celebrity dance-off battle (just days before her 22nd birthday!). Following their elimination, the duo made an appearance on the late-night show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," where host Kimmel promptly apologized to Bristol for always bashing on and making jokes about her famous politician mom, Sarah Palin. Bristol took it all in stride, even after Kimmel humorously admitted that the apology wasn't really authentic and that he probably wasn't actually sorry for all of his Sarah Palin jibes.
Check out the interview below:
Right off the bat, Kimmel starts off with, "I appreciate your coming, because I made probably one or two jokes about your mother over the years."
Bristol exclaims back, "Yes, I'm here for my apology!"
Kimmel seems to get a kick out of it and says he's sorry, but Bristol calls him out with a, "No you're not."
Kimmel eventually consents, admitting: "I'm not sorry, you're right. But I will allow you to make 48,000 jokes about my mother just to make us even."
Bristol then counters back that she does not know Mrs. Kimmel, but Jimmy insists if she did she'd definitely make fun of her. And that was that.
So looks like Kimmel might not be done with all of his Sarah Palin bashing, but at least he seems to get along relatively well with her 22-year-ol daughter Bristol.
And extra fun fact, today's Bristol's birthday! She turns 22 on Oct. 18 - booted off "DWTS" may not be the best bday gift, but hopefully the festivities tonight will make up for it!
