Coach Brendan Rodgers is saying Liverpool are ready to take on his former club, Swansea today.
"We're re-energized and refreshed mentally and physically," he told the media this week. "We go into a run of games now, starting with Swansea, and we feel we can go in and push on in terms of our level of performance again. We know it will be tough. The players have been brilliant this week. They're looking really sharp, looking really confident and we just want to continue with our sequence of performances and good results."

Meanwhile, coach Garry Monk of Swansea spoke to the press about player Jonjo Shelvey, whom he criticized a few months ago, but insists he's learned his lesson and stepped up.
"Jonjo's in good form and had a very good month, he's showing bits of what we know he can do and what we're pushing him to do," Monk said, according to the Liverpool Echo. "You have to look at it as a response (to the criticism]) because of his performance levels. He's done very well over the last month, but he contributed before that anyway. The performances were probably a bit more patchy then, but in the last month his game has been more complete. Hopefully he'll continue that and get better because there's a lot more to come from Jonjo."
