According to some recent reports, pop star Britney Spears is reevaluating her current relationship with fiancé (and former manager) Jason Trawick - the 30-year-old "X-Factor" judge and her hubby allegedly even considered calling off the entire wedding. But such rumors don't make much sense considering Spears just bought an $8.5 million mansion in order to get further away from all the "madness of Hollywood" and to "start a new life" with Trawick. So what's the deal?
Reports have it that the "Toxic" songstress has left Calabasas for Thousand Oaks, CA - a luxurious private/gated community even further away from the Hollywood limelight. The $8.5 million, 8,456 square-foot mansion houses 5 bedrooms, 7 baths, a wine cellar, home theater, and huge infinity pool. It looks like Trawick will be making the moving as well, considering he has recently been living with Spears in a 10,000-square-foot rental in Thousand Oaks.
Spears and Trawick publically announced that they were dating back in May 2010 - they decided to end their professional relationship in order to focus on their personal one. The two were engaged in December 2011.

But for months, many gossip tabloids have speculated that Trawick only views the relationship as a business venture, and has no intentions of actually marrying Spears. According to an inside source for In Touch, "Britney was ready to marry Jason even before he popped the question, [but] 10 months after promising Britney the world, it appears Jason has no intention of reciting wedding vows." In Touch attempts to prove that Trawick only wants to "cement his role as Britney's business manager, not romantic partner" - he allegedly parties with friends rather than spend more time with Spears and her two sons. The fact that the couple has yet to set a wedding date (and Spears has recent been spotted sans-engagement ring) also raises some red flags (at least according to In Touch).
Another inside source recently said:
"I think Britney's father [Jamie Spears] hired Jason to be her watchdog from the very beginning. If that is true, and she has finally figured that out, she will call off their wedding. Jamie wanted Britney to fall for Jason so he would not have to be with her all the time. As Britney's court-appointed guardian, Jason is basically paid to be her keeper, and it seems like he is at her side all the time. Britney does not like it, but she has no choice. I think Britney suspects that her father and Jason were playing her."
That's some pretty heavy stuff, especially considering Spears' new "family home-esque" investment. What do fans think, is the wedding still on?
