The March 18, 2015 edition of WWE's NXT will air tonight on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. Eastern, but the show was actually taped on the road at The Arnold Sports Festival at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio on March 5. This marks the first NXT show at somewhere other than Full Sail University.
Both of the singles champions will be in action tonight, as NXT Champion Kevin Owens takes on Alex Riley, while NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks faces Alexa Bliss. Riley wants a shot at the champion, who has been bullying him for weeks now, while Bliss wants revenge on The Boss for breaking her nose.
Finn Balor is also lurking out there as the No. 1 Contender to the NXT Championship, and advertisements have shown that he gets his shot at the belt next week. He and Owens have not interacted much since Takeover: Rival, so we'll see if he comes out tonight and makes his presence felt.
As always, check back with MStars immediately after the show for a full recap of all the action. But for now, let us know your thoughts, opinions, guesses, and predictions for tonight's show in the comments section.
In case you missed it, here are the results of last week's show.
The March 11, 2015 edition of WWE's NXT airs on the WWE Network and begins with Enzo Amore and Big Cass, who do their usual routine on their way down to the ring.
Enzo calls the Lucha Dragons the "Geico Lizards" and says they will have an accident tonight. Big Cass says they will take the NXT Tag Team Championship and they will crush anyone who gets in their way.
Sure enough, the Realest Guys in the Room defeat the former champs when Cass connects with a big boot and a tilt-a-whirl side slam and launches his tag team partner off the top rope for the pin.
Alexa Bliss defeats Carmella with the Sparkle Splash, a top rope splash with a 180-degree twist.
Alex Riley is asked what his match against CJ Parker means tonight. He says it's like he has been stuck in a cage for two years with no food while everyone around him had plenty to eat. He says NXT Champion Kevin Owens talks about fighting for his family, but Riley has no family and just fights to survive.
Riley defeats Parker with the Blockbuster. He celebrates, but Owens comes out and says Riley is the "dumbest man in NXT." He makes fun of Riley's back tattoo and says he will end Riley's career just like he ended his commentary career. After that, he'll squash the rise of Finn Balor.
Tyler Breeze defeats Hideo Itami when the Japanese star whiffs on a missile dropkick, which allows Breeze to hit the Beauty Shot for the pin.
