Chevy Chase dropped the N- word when he had an an outburst about the direction of his character on the NBC hit show "Community." Chase believed his character has gotten worse over the years and that he has become very uncomfortable with his material and discussed his concerns to the writers but has been completely ignored.
According to TMZ, Chase got into a heated rant and allegedly yelled, What's next?... Am I gonna say the word ni**er? Later Chase apologized to the crew and cast for his rant and the use of the word, and insisted that the word wasn't directed at anyone including his African American cast members.
This isn't Chase's first rant on the set of Community. The actor left the shows creator, Dan Harmon a long hateful voicemail after he led the crowd in a "F**k You, Chevy" chant in front of his wife and daughter during the shows wrap up party.
Chase let the shows creator have it and called Harmon, "g*dd*mn bad writer...s**t ... stink-o," he also added, "Your writing is getting worse and worse." In the message, Chase was so upset that he told Harmon, "You're going to live to be about 57 if you're lucky. The way you eat."
Mstarz, listen to the voicemail and tell us how you feel. Do you think Chase is right about his characters role and it was appropriate for him to rip a new one into Dan Harmon?
