Nick Cannon and Jessica White Dating Rumors: New Couple "Keeping Low Profile" Until Mariah Carey Divorce Final [DETAILS]

It looks like Nick Cannon is already back on the dating scene after filing for a divorce from ledgendary singer Mariah Carey. They were married for six years and have twins together. According to E!, Cannon has found a interest in model Jessica White as the new rumored couple try to "keep a low profile out of respect for Nick's family since the divorce is not final."

A source close to Nick and the model says, "Jessica and Nick have been friends for some time now," and claims that they were "purely just friends" during his marriage to Mariah.

"Jessica fully respected Nick's relationship and would never get in between anything with them. When Nick was going through his breakup Jessica was there for him as a friend," the insider revealed. "Jessica been in the studio lately and Nick has been very supportive with her focusing on her music career and giving her some great pointers and direction as she explores her talents. They been spending lots of time together and Nick really enjoys Jessica's free spirit and easy going attitude for life."

Cannon's public divorce rumors began last April, but he tried to play off the news.

"You kind of have to ignore it because every week it's something different, and if you paid attention to it, it actually probably would start really affecting you...There's no merit or truth to it. It's kind of humorous, really. It couldn't be further off from the truth, and it really affects the credibility of the so-called newspapers," he told Parade magazine last year.

A source close to Mariah claims that the couple had been having issues for a long time, saying, "There have been issues between them for a while."

MStars News previously reported that Cannon was also linked to Nicole Murphy. The rumored couple was spotted having dinner and apparently spent Valentines Day together.

As for White, the model has been seen in photos with Cannon lately, but Amber Rose, who's a friend of both, says it's nothing but a picture, but doesn't deny that the two are lovebirds. Cannon spoke about the dating rumors and claims he's single.

"I'm not dating anyone. I don't have time," he said. "I'm trying to focus on being the best father I can possibly be, and business, we have so many things, from the book to my philanthropic efforts to all the shows and movies I'm producing."
