Coach Roberto Martinez this week told the press that Everton is proud to represent the EPL and are aiming for a victory today.

"We know it will be a very difficult match," he explained. "Of course we respect Dynamo, they are a strong team who haven't lost at home [in any competition] this season. But we are ready for them as we are other big clubs in Europe. We haven't come here for a draw - we're proud to represent England in Europe."

Serhiy Rebrov, Dynamo Kyiv's coach shared the same sentiments for his side this week, pointing out some key players from the opposition to focus the teams attention.

"Obviously we will have to play differently," the manager said this week. "We have to consider the mistakes we made in Liverpool. We have to play more aggressively, more confidently. Our task is to win and qualify for the next round. Romelu Lukaku is a key player, but we can't focus only on him. Leighton Baines, who has returned, is important; Luke Garbutt's free-kicks are very dangerous ... there are many good players at Everton."
