Kate Hudson, Chris Martin Dating Rumors: Gwyneth Paltrow's Ex Ditches Jennifer Lawrence For Matthew Bellamy's Former Fiancé

It looks like Chris Martin has a little bit of explaining to do. The Coldplay front man has a few women in his life, but it is his newest crush on Kate Hudson that is causing major waves for his other leading ladies. The "Sky Full of Stars" singer was spotted catching some rays at the beach with the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress over the weekend, and it doesn't seem like his on-again, off-again girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence or his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow are too happy about the coupling.

According to Radar Online, not only did Kate and Chris spend a lot of time soaking up the sun, but they also grabbed a bite to eat after getting their vitamin D intake for the day.

"They looked like a young, fun couple," a source revealed to the site, adding that they got dinner on Saturday at Coral Beach Cantina in Malibu.

When news of the date reached Paltrow, the actress was reportedly "livid," taking fault with Kate because these two are suppose to be friends.

In Touch is reporting that Kate has been pretty strategic in her play for Chris as she waited for the opportune moment when Gwen and Jen were both out of town to make her move on Martin.

"[Kate] knew Gwyneth and Jennifer were out of town, so she took the opportunity to make a major play for Chris," an insider explained of the recently single Hudson.

Hudson and her ex-fiancé, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, called it quits in 2014 after being engaged for three years.

The site also reports that Chris is totally into Kate, stating, "Chris has always thought Kate was fun, cool and really hot. She's totally his type."
