Rapper Snoop Dogg and ESPN's Bill Simmons are headed to the Staples Center this week for WWE Monday Night Raw. Since the show is practically in their backyard it only makes sense that the two stop by wrestling's L.A. dojo. Also, wrestler Curtis Axel has called out Snoop, so there will be an #AxelMania-#SnoopMania showdown. Snoop will be the official guest host while Simmons -- the man who carried Page 2 on his back before it fell apart -- will announce a few matches alongside JBL, Michael Cole and Booker T. Snoop may be the big name going in, but the Grantland writer might leave that Raw being the night's favorite guest host.

All Simmons has to do to get himself remembered is bring the same fire that has gotten him suspended from ESPN to the announcer's booth. Guys who can hilariously trash their own colleagues's radio show are perfect fits for WWE. Plus, it also helps that Simmons's brain is an open encyclopedia for 1980s wrestling.

On the other side of the guest spectrum for next week's Raw, on March 23, Snoop is currently having a war of words with Curtis Axel -- the man who has managed to keep himself in the Royal Rumble match longer than anybody else in the history of the match. It all started when Snoop announced on Twitter that he's hosting.

Will Axel overcome Snoop or will he fall to the Doggfather as he has fallen to just about everyone else since he gave birth to the #Axelmania concept?
