The March 23, 2015 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw will emanate live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8 p.m. Eastern and will serve as the go-home show for WrestleMania 31, which happens this Sunday night from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.
Roman Reigns will get a face-to-face meeting with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar tonight courtesy of Paul Heyman, who made the announcement last week. This will be one of the few interactions Reigns and Lesnar have had since Roman won the Royal Rumble match in late January. Which man will get the upper hand headed into their title bout on Sunday?
Keep in mind what infamous Reddit user MetsFan4Ever said last week about the situation between Lesnar and the WWE:
"After talking to a few people today at the SmackDown tapings word going around is that Brock Lesnar is very close to agreeing on a new contract with the WWE. With the lack of popularity that Roman Reigns has received as of late, Triple H is pushing Vince on the idea of keeping the WWE Championship on Brock.
This would also have huge ramifications with two of the under card matches on the show.
If Brock retains the title it would in all likelihood mean a continued 'special attraction schedule' for him. Triple H as of late has been big on the idea that the I.C. Title and the U.S. Title should mean something again. The plan, if Brock retains is to put the U.S. Title on John Cena and the I.C. Title on Daniel Bryan. The theory would be that two legit Superstars would bring legitimacy to both titles. Also, while Brock is gone both men can main event Raw, Smackdown, PPVs and house shows with those titles on top of the card. Which again, would bring back the legitimacy of both belts.
A lot can change between now and WrestleMania. But this is just one of the many ideas that are being discussed. I have not been told of any other ideas, but if I hear more, I will be sure to pass the information along to this great community."
So keep your eyes out for any news on the Lesnar situation or any indication tonight on which way WWE is leaning for Sunday.
Elsewhere, Sting interfered in the main event last week and helped Randy Orton fight off the entire Authority. Orton will get his hands on Seth Rollins on Sunday, while Sting will have his showdown with Triple H. Will the heels gain an advantage over the good guys tonight, or will the WCW stalwart continue to stay a step ahead of The Game?
The 7-man Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match is set among Daniel Bryan, Bad News Barrett, Dean Ambrose, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, Luke Harper, and Stardust. The seven men have been playing hot potato with the title for weeks, so which man will emerge with the belt tonight?
John Cena will also get another shot at Rusev and the United States Championship on Sunday. Will Rusev bring back Lana to have in his corner, or will he take on the 15-time world champion on his own?
Finally, Bray Wyatt will take on the Undertaker on Sunday. Will the Phenom make an appearance in the flesh tonight?
