Country star Leann Rimes opened her heart on a recent interview on the Katie Couric Show that will air this Friday October 26, 2012.  Rimes suffered from cyber-bullying as a result of an affair she had with Eddie Cibrian that led her to a recent admission to a rehab.  The 30 days that she spent voluntarily at the rehabilitation center helped her to cope with the stress that came with all the negative energy that she received from haters on social media websites such as Twitter and Facebook.

"People look at you and go, 'Why are you struggling?' No one can quite understand why you hurt so badly," she said to Couric.

Rimes took the courage to seek professional help and admitted that she felt like she was "starting over" again.

"I feel like I am starting over even though I've had all these years behind me. How many people get to (start) over again in this day and age?"

When Rimes publicly announced that she was going into rehab immediately after her 30th birthday, the public speculated that it may have been caused by her husband's potential infidelity.   Despite the rumors, Cibrian has lovingly expressed his support for his wife.

Cibrian has two children with his ex-wife Brandi Glanville, whom he was unfaithful to during his marriage with her.

Glanville publicly declared on Twitter that Cibrian would cheat on Rimes again.  "Once a cheater, always a cheater" seems to be the phrase that continues to follow both Rimes and Cibrian after their affair was exposed.

"I think it's really hard to deal with Twitter and Facebook," Rimes admitted. "And it's hard to take it day after day of reading and seeing things that someone you don't even know says about you. As much as you said you don't want it to penetrate, it does, because you're human."

"Everyone has an opinion of how I am and how I should be, and now I'm focusing on how I want to be."
