Maci Bookout is enjoying her pregnancy this time around and seems to be happy that she's expecting a baby girl.
"It's a positive experience and I feel like I'm allowed to be happy and allowed to be excited," Bookout revealed to E! News. "Before, it was just negative. I wanted to hide from the world and not talk about it because I was only 16."
The Teen Mom OG star added, "It's been nice to be able to enjoy it."
As the new season premieres Monday night, Maci, now 23 years old, says that her second pregnancy has been similar to her first.
"As far as the pregnancy itself, it's been very similar," she confessed. "I've been blessed with two very easy pregnancies, thank goodness, and not too bad of symptoms."
The reality star has a six-year-old son Bentley, from a previous relationship, and revealed that she was pregnant with another child with her boyfriend Taylor McKinney. This will be Taylor's first child.
According to E!, Maci is due this summer, and is finally revealing the name of her daughter.
"It's Jayde and her middle name is Carter," she continued, "No more changes. We finally agree and really feel like this is the perfect fit."
Monday night fans will have a chance to catch up with Maci along with the other original Teen Mom cast-mates, Amber Portwood, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell.
It seems that the reunion isn't going to quit be an happy one, as Maci made it clear she wasn't excited about Farrah being a part of the show.
"As far as the way I felt when she was returning, it's not about Farrah. I don't hold a grudge against her, I'm not mad at her, I don't judge her — nothing like that," she explained. "But there's also a fine line with what I find appropriate and I just don't think it's appropriate for my six-year-old son to be involved with some of the things that Farrah is involved with."
As for Maci's pregnancy, she calls her daughter a "miracle baby."
"We were very concerned that we might not be able to have a child of our own, so we talked about adoption" Bookout said. "I knew my chances [of getting pregnant] were very low." She added, "This baby is such a blessing. I'm calling her my miracle baby."
Maci's daughter is indeed a miracle child after the family survived a car accident leaving an turned over vehicle with only bumps and bruises.
"Thanking God that Bentley and I were able to walk away from this nightmare with only a few bruises. Thanking God that my unborn baby girl is perfectly healthy after this. I'd also like to @JeepOfficial @Jeep because if our seatbelts and the roll cage had not done their job, I'm not sure my family and I would of had the same outcome. Thanks to everyone that stopped to help, that was huge. I pray everyone else involved is doing okay," she wrote in the photo that was taken back in January.
