Summerfest Music Festival Headliners Announced, Kendrick Lamar and Florida Georgia Line Among Headliners

Music fans rejoice! The headliners for Summerfest were recently revealed, and this year's festival is on track to be bigger and better than ever.

Billed as the "World's Largest Music Festival," Summerfest will feature more than 90 headlining acts during the Milwaukee festival from June 24–28 and June 30–July 5.

Kaskade, Bastille, the Flaming Lips, Sheryl Crow, Edward Sharpe, Santigold and DJ Paris Hilton will join Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran, Zac Brown Band, Kings of Leon, Florida Georgia Line, Kendrick Lamar and more during the festival.

"Absolutely fantastic," says Don Smiley, president & CEO of Summerfest, in regard to the 2015 lineup in a statement. "It's the best lineup of bands in the U.S. and possibly the world. A true, quality choice of music for everyone."

About a million people are expected to attend Summerfest, with shows from more than 800 acts spanning 11 days across 11 stages.

Tickets, along with more detailed information, are all now available on the Summerfest's official website. General admissions tickets are $19; weekday tickets are $12; three-day passes cost $45. An 11-day "Power Pass" will be available exclusively at grocery stores in Wisconsin until June 1. Exact time and stage locations will be announced in the coming weeks.

Summerfest has been a staple in the Midwest summer music scene since 1968. In 1999, Summerfest was declared "The World's Largest Music Festival" by the Guinness Book of World Records. The festival features the hottest and upcoming acts from all genres of music, from hip hop to idie rock and country. Along with its impressive array of musical acts, the event hosts family activities like zip lining, carnival rides, and paddle boats. Several food vendors offer diverse food offerings at stands and trucks throughout the festival — everything from burgers and pizza to goat salad and asparagus risotto.
