Is Andy Cohen's relationship with Bethenny Frankel suffering now that she's a Housewife again? Well, it certainly seems that way as the Watch What Happens: Live host reveals that he doesn't want to give the Real Housewives of New York star any special treatment now that she's back on the show. While many think Cohen has his favorite girls from each Housewives city, the executive producer explains that he tries to treat everyone as equals. According to Radar Online, Cohen might have grilled Bethenny during a one-on-one interview that aired this weekend, but he does admit that now that she's back on the series that their friendship will have to move from the grill to the backburner for now.
In a new segment of Ask Andy, the host sits down to talk about his relationship with the star now that she's a RHONY lady again.
"It's easier to be friends with her when she's not on [the show] because she's a Housewife now and I don't want to treat her differently than other Housewives. She knows that," the host explains. "I think that our friendship went on the backburner when she started shooting [the show]."
Also, Bethenny might have a bone to pick with Andy over the interview, as according to reports from Us Weekly Bethenny's ex-husband Jason Hoppy is looking to take legal action against the claims that she made during her and Andy's talk.
Bernard Clair, Hoppy's attorney, explained in a statement, "He and his client were more than a bit surprised and troubled over the personal and private details articulated by Ms. Frankel about the marriage and its demise, and that they were exploring their legal options."
