When you think about how many masterpieces there have been in Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series since Grand Theft Auto 3, it's surprising to hear that there is anything wrong with their games. For the first time in years, it looks as if there's a tiny chink in the armor as Xbox One and Playstation 4 owners of Grand Theft Auto 5 are noticing a deterioration of graphics after a recent Title Update. The issue is said to only arise whenever they attempt to hop online.
Rockstar addressed the issue on their forum when asked by fans if they will be fixing the graphics folly caused by Title Update 1.08. Rockstar replied by saying they were "aware" of the problem. As of now there is no solution.
“We are aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 versions of GTAV after the most recent Title Update, and we are investigating a fix now,” Rockstar posted on their forum. “If you would like to receive an automatic email notification as soon as there is more information, please log into the Support Site.”
Title Update 1.08 was an update was intended to fix problems and not cause more. It was released after the Heist Patch and fixed a number of tiny issues that arose in both online and story mode.
Despite this little problem Grand Theft Auto 5 has been perfect. It’s been so perfect as a matter of fact IGN gave the game a flawless 10 out of 10. That’s unheard of in the world of gaming and only given to the best of the best. Other games IGN gave a 10 out of 10 score to is the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Pokemon Red and Blue, Soul Calibur, Sonic the Hedgehog and Metal Gear Solid for the Gameboy Color.
In terms of gaming, it’s in good company and one can argue it’s the best game on that list. You can live through a little graphics deterioration.
