Justin Bieber Cancer Hoax: Fans Shave Heads, Did you Get new Hairdo?

Justin Bieber suffering from cancer! This was the latest celebrity hoax that rocked the web space Thursday. The young pop sensation has a huge fan following, especially widely adored girls. The pranksters behind spreading lies about Bibber sought his fans to shave their heads in a show of solidarity.

#BaldforBibber, this was the hashtag that was treading on twitter and presumably must have got some of the heads bald.

Bieber's alleged cancer news spread like a wild fire across internet, following a tweet via Entertainment Tonight's official page. The tricksters faked a tweet from Entertainment Tonight's official account, reading "Pop star Justin Bieber was diagnosed with cancer earlier this morning. Bieber fans are shaving their heads to show their support," reported Zap2it.com.

According to reports, in order to add more reality to the hoax, the web miscreants posted pictures of a couple of so-called fans of Bieber with bald heads, holding the placards that read "Bald for Bieber.' There were also reports that Bieber himself tweeted photos of his fans, thanking the ET for their support.

The website had the hoax tweet deleted quickly from his Twitter account but by the time it had caused enough damages and gained momentum already. It is said that some real fans started to shave their heads in a bid to show their support to Bieber.

Bieber appeared to have not taken the hoax about him that serious. He refrained from clearing the air over the rumors that he had cancer. However, his bodyguard Kenny Hamilton put the lid on the speculations by refusing the rumors on Twitter.

Hamilton tweeted 'NO' in response to a fan's question whether it's true that Bieber having cancer.
