Lil Wayne is on a mandated rest and will return to the work soon, according to the artist's team members.

The multi-platinum recording artist had been discharged from hospital and was showing quick recovery from the ailment, they added. He was rushed to hospital Thursday evening following an in-flight medial emergency.

They said he would return to work soon. The New Orleans-based rapper appreciated his fans' support and love, Fox News reported the Wayne team as saying.

But there are contradicting reports doing the rounds over Wayne's health problem. Some reports are suggesting that the rapper had suffered two seizures in 24 hours while some say that it's false.

The private jet of Wayne made an emergency landing in Texas after the rap-artist suffered seizure-like attack. But it was later denied by his reps that he suffered seizure and they added that he was doing well.

The mouthpiece of Wayne reportedly said that the issue was blown out of proportion that the rapper didn't suffer seizure but had a severe migraine caused from dehydration and it was nothing to worry.

"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love," Wayne rep said in a statement to MTV News.

Earlier a report in TMZ claimed that the Young Money boss suffered another seizure onboard and was shifted was hospitalized in Louisiana. It also claimed that it was second such attack in 24 hours. It also carried a picture in its website purportedly showing Wayne entering his waiting SUV outside Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana.
