Hurricane Sandy Fails to Scare Kim Kardashian, Tweets She 'Missed the Storm'

With her boyfriend by her side, Kim Kardashian is least worried about the monster storm -- Hurricane Sandy -- even as it has brought the normal life of the New York City virtually to a standstill.

The East Coast of the US was expected to face the super storm this week.

The TV reality star on Saturday arrived in New York to host the Midori Halloween party, quipped that her super boyfriend Kanye West would save her from the super storm by sailing her to safety. Kim was decked up as blond mermaid, while her boyfriend dressed up like a sailor.  

Talking to Washington Post, Kim joked West could "sail her to safety if need be."

Kim said that she took at least 2 months to zero in on her costume for the Halloween party. Her green mermaid dress and blond hair was inspired by 1984 film "Splash." She hosted the Midori Halloween party for the second time in the row.

After flying back to Miami, where the TV sensation is currently shooting for her latest season of "Kim Take Miami", she tweeted saying that she flew from the New York giving a slip to the storm, which is all set to hit the city.

"Back in Miami now. Missed the storm. I'm praying for everyone on the East Coast. I hope everyone is safe!," she tweeted.
