Morgan Freeman Died? Rumor Still Spreading, Actor Actively Promoting Wormhole Season 3 DVD 2012

People are still wondering if Morgan Freeman has died. The actor himself addressed the death hoax rumor on his Facebook page to 2.2 million followers about a week ago. He is also actively promoting the latest project Wormhole Season 3 DVD.

His post read:

"Like Mark Twain, I keep reading that I have died.

I hope those stories are not true... But if they are, I'm happy to report that my afterlife seems identical to my life when I was alive.

I did go to Las Vegas to begin work on the film “L
ast Vegas.”

That is anything but a death sentence."

Fans felt relieved to hear Freeman confirm that he is alive and well.

"So happy to read you are alive and well! My b/f told me otherwise and my heart almost stopped... You are a wonderful actor and a true inspiration to me. Lots of light and love to you," wrote Emily Coates.

"I'm so thankful the rumor is a lie, you are a spectacular actor and I pray you continue for a very long time. I have enjoyed your work for many years and pray I get to continue to do so :):):)," said Mary Wilson.

"My brother said to me, morgan freeman died and I just couldn't believe it.  I'm so glad Morgan wrote on his Facebook page to show us that this was not true.  The voice of God can't die!" wrote Stephanie.

"YAY, he's alive!!  So glad he took the horrific stories with a light heart. Shame on the rumor starter!" Josephine said.  

"Sick sick sick.. Part of the reason why i don't really go on social networks... too much drama." SandyLady wrote.

The 75-year old also posted the following message on Facebook on Friday, October 26, 2012.
