Before Season 2 commences on WGN America, Lionsgate Home Entertainment will be released Manhattan: Season One on DVD and Blu-Ray. Before the disc sets arrive in April, check out the behind-the-scenes clip from from the bold new drama starring Rachel Brosnahan and Michael Chernus.
According to the official site, Manhattan is set against the turbulent backdrop of the mission to build the world's first atomic bomb, The first season followed the brilliant, but equally flawed scientists and their families. Each member tried to coexist in a world, but their secrets and lies had a way of infiltrating every aspect of their normal lives.
The bonus materials will feature behind-the-scenes from the set, fashion, history and "making of" material. The discs will also include select episode audio commentaries with the cast and crew. Some of the featurettes are entitled, "Ground Zero: Bringing the Bomb to Screen," "P.O. Box 1663: Creating a City that Didn't Exist," Now I Am Become Death': J. Robert Oppenheimer" and "Recreating an Era: Manhattan Costume Design."

According to TV Guide, actor William Petersen (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation) will be joining the atomic bomb as a series regular in Season 2. The Manhunter actor will play Col. Emmett Darrow, a religious and patriotic man. When the second season starts, Emmett becomes the new ranking military officer at Los Alamos. Darrow feels God has a plan for him to usher in the atomic future and spread American values around the world.
Season 2 of Manhattan will premiere on WGN America sometime in Fall 2015.
All 13 episodes of Manhattan: Season One will be available as a 3-disc Blu-ray and 4-disc DVD set on April 7.
