President Barack Obama has recently created a buzz with his latest speech in New Hampshire on Sunday November 4, 2012. Two days before the election, he referred to himself an his campaign manager David Plouffe as "just a prop", which was caught on video.
Obama said to the crowd, "I looked at David Plouffe and some of you know he's my big campaign bus smart guy, Plouffe and I looked at each other and we said you know what? We're no longer relevant now, we're props."
Obama said that with the intention to empower the voters and their important role in the society.
"It's now up to you," he continued. "That's how a democracy works, right? That ultimately, it's up to you. You have the power. You are shaping the decisions for this country for decades to come. Right now. In the next two days."
Opponents and critics were quick to criticize the President for referring to himself as a "prop."
One user online wrote, "Actually, I would like to say finally he admits it but I really do think the massive failure of the last 4 years can be laid directly at his feet."
Another said, "We don't need a prop, we need a true leader who will lead the nation!"
Bill Clinton stood by the president's side and stated, "We've made real progress. Compared to what could have happened, Barack Obama has done a good job ... With a tough hand, he has done a good job
