Sounders coach Sigi Shmid this week spoke to the media about having a healthy roster going into the Dynamo match. Plus, he talked about Houston's manager, Owen Coyle and how he'll fit into the MLS this season and beyond. Check out this interview video clip right here:

Speaking of Coyle, the manager recently praised his player Ricardo Clark for playing through a fractured rib injury last week.
I've got to say, I don't know too many that could've endured the pain he did to play," the coach said this week. "We actually shaped up [Friday] with Ricardo not in the team. Even Friday he came out and was barely walking and tried to get about the game. He said after he was willing to try it. No painkillers, no nothing. Just gritting his teeth. That's just the man he is."
Meanwhile, Clark told MLSSoccer.com that he's going to play through the pain today against Seattle.
"Everything you do, when you breathe, when you shout, get hit and lateral movements was what killed me the most," he said. "It's just a nagging injury and a painful injury. It's one of those injuries no player looks forward to having, but it's one you've just got to play through."
