Before polls close for the Presidential Election tomorrow Reverend Patrick L. Wooden urged his Upper Room Church of God congregation to not vote for President Barack Obama.

According to the Washington Post, Wooden preached on the impending doom of Israel saying, "The people didn't like [Amos's] preaching. We've got a sitting president who supports same-sex marriage, who never met an abortion law he didn't love," Wooden told 1600 members."Our definition of marriage doesn't come from the president or the Constitution. We get our definition of marriage from the creator."

A firm believer in his religion, Wooden urge members not to feel forced to choose religion over politics. The Reverend is a firm believer of the first Amendment and has been vocal about banning same-sex marriage which passed in May. In an interview with Robin Roberts on ABC News, Wooden expressed his concern about high rates of divorce and single motherhood in black families, and why Obama would want to "add gay marriage to that mix?"

Mstarz readers, do you think mixing politics and religion is a great idea?
