Britney Spears Book 2012: 'X Factor' Judge to Author New Novel?

Pop sensation Britney Spears is likely to become an author!

The latest media reports suggested that the judge of popular television show  the' X Factor' is in talks with a publishing house over releasing a book inspired by her real-life.

Britney's rep has confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter, that the 30-years-old pop singer has plans to sign a book deal with It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins. The book is said to be a fictionalized take on Britney's life.

Britney's journey to the stardom had been a bumpy ride. From being catapulted to a worldwide pop sensation status, to her infamous relationships, to her relapse, to her recovery and eventually how she managed to reclaim her status as international singer; her journey as a pop singer covers the full spectrum of a celebrity life's ups and downs.

There is no information on  a prospective release date for the book.

Britney's mother Lynne Spears has already authored book about her daughter.

One of Lynne's works, "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," struck controversy after Britney's proclaimed manager Sam Lutfi sued her for allegedly describing him as "Svengali" and "predator' in the book.
