Eddie Murphy's death hoax rumors appear once again. However, it is obvious that he did not die after he escorted his new girlfriend this past Saturday. His new blond girlfriend claimed a major chuck of media attention Saturday as the lady of the evening escorted the actor to a TV show in Beverly Hills.
Eddie showed up at "Eddie Murphy: One Night Only" tribute program, which will be aired on Spike TV Nov 14, with his hot supermodel girlfriend Paige Butcher on his arms. Both of them have been spotted together in several places over a month, including a dinner date at Mastro's Steakhouse in Los Angeles.
Butcher, 33, is an Australian actor and model. She has featured on the cover photos of several popular magazines, like Maxim and Fitness. She has also acted in movies like " Something's Gotta Give" and "Big Momma's House 2."
The show was organised by Spike TV at the Saban Theater in honour of the veteran comedian, Eddie Murphy. The tribute was hosted in the presence of several distinguished guests, including Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry, Martin Lawrence, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Stevie Wonder and Keenan Ivory Wayans.
The 55-year-old actor said that he is a retired performer, who rarely shows up at events. He said,
"I'm just a retired old song and dance man. That's what you do when you're retired: You come out every now and then and talk about the old days," according to CBS News.
Speaking at the function, the "Beverly Hills Cop" actor said that he was moved by the tribute. "This is really a touching moving thing, and I really appreciate it. "You know what it's like when you have something like this? You know when they sing happy birthday to you? It's like that for, like, two hours... and I am Eddied out," he said.
