Marilyn Manson may be a scary dude, but that doesn't mean there aren't people out there willing to knock him down a peg or two. Which is exactly what the musician realized recently when he was punched in the face at a Denny's in Alberta, Canada. Manson allegedly insulted a man's girlfriend by calling her a b*tch, and was immediately knocked down for it.

Manson reportedly stopped by Denny's late in the evening after a concert this past Saturday. It was there that he got into an altercation with a group, and at some point called one of the guy's girlfriend a "b*tch."

And well, the guy was pretty irritated by the comment and decided to let out his frustrations by punching Manson square in the face, according to TMZ.

Luckily, Manson usually wears makeup so if he has any black eyes we probably won't be able to tell. Just saying...

The gossip site notes that police confirmed that occurrence but assured them that "no charges were filed." Perhaps Manson felt it wasn't worth his time bringing up any charges? After all, the makeup thing.

As mentioned, Mason was in Canada performing before the altercation. Check out some fan-footage of his concert... pre-punch.

So, readers, what do you think: did Manson deserve the punch? Let us know your thoughts below!
