We're begging for Marvel Comics to keep Miles Morales, the amazing wall-crawler from the Ultimate Universe, alive during the summer event, Secret Wars. Down to the final issue, readers want to know what writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist David Marquez have in store for Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #12.

As we reported here, Miles Morales has been gaining mainstream attention outside the comic book pages. First, Danny Glover, rapper Childish Gambino, voiced the teen superhero in the Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors on Disney XD. Marvel gave Miles Morales his own ongoing series with Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #1. We at MStars even named Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man Vol.1- Revival the best comic of 2014

Here are are 5 reasons we're going to miss this series after reading the last page of Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #12:

1) Spidey Vs. Doctor Doom

In the penultimate issue, the big bad turned out to be someone worse than the terrorist organization known as Hydra. Doctor Doom was the man in charge, orchestrating the capture of Miles, his father, and the rest of the gang. The last issue has so much to wrap; the suspense is killing me.

2) Someone Has to Die

Peter Parker lost Uncle Ben in his own origin story. Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and Dick Grayson lost someone before they donned the Robin costume. You cannot be a superhero without a personal tragedy. Will Miles lose his father too? I am honestly scared for Ganke Lee, Miles' best friend.

3) What Will Happen To The Others?

I personally liked the Ultimate Universe's Aunt May. Don't get rid of her! I'm very happy that Gwen Stacey has her own series as Spider-Gwen. I'm guessing J. Jonah Jameson is probably lying in a ditch somewhere, with a burnt head. Seriously, how cool was Jameson when he shot the Green Goblin at point-blank range!

4) David Marquez

A big round of applause for Marquez's artwork and the colors by Justin Ponsor for the 2 part flashback. Echoing past crime movies, such as The French Connection and Serpico. Jefferson Davis revealed to his son that he was once an undercover agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.  With no superheroes in the background, readers were treated with a gritty crime drama.

5) The Ultimate End

As we previously mentioned, Miles will have a big role to play in Ultimate End #1. Bendis teased, "The story we're telling with Miles Morales will tie into Secret Wars and tie up a lot of really big pieces with the Ultimate chronology. You're going to get legitimate closure with a lot of characters. It's very rare that you get this opportunity to wrap it up. It's like television, when you get a final season. That's how I've been writing 'Miles Morales'... Will you see Peter in 'Ultimate End'? Yes you will."

Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man #12 hits stores on April 8.

Readers, are you excited to get your hands on the final issue?
