Reports confirm that rapper Lil Wayne has lost the lawsuit which he filed against popular music producer Quincy Jones III back in October - Weezy now must pay the founder of QD3 Entertainment close to a whopping $2.2 million, thanks to a countersuit. Apparently Lil Wayne isn't so upset about having to fork over the cash (just pocket change, right?) but the 30-year-old is pretty livid with the judge and jury - he believes that they were "pissed off" because the Cash Money rapper didn't appear in court to testify against Jones, and therefore made an unjust and rash decision. TMZ reports that Weezy is complaining to his posse that the judge should have given him time to recover from his illness (he suffered from "severe dehydration" late in October) so he could have made his case to the jury. Maybe Wayne's smooth way with words may have been able to win over the judge and jury.

The New Orleans rapper filed a lawsuit against Jones and his production company, QD3 Entertainment, in October for using unlicensed music from his 2008 album, "The Carter 3," in Jones' documentary "The Carter 3." Jones then countersued, claiming that the "How to Love" star blocked the release of his film which ultimately led to lost profits. In the end, Jones proved victorious - and now Wayne must pay him $2,195,000.

The day Lil Wayne was set to testify in court, he didn't show because he was prohibited to fly after suffering several seizure-like symptoms during a "medical in-flight emergency situation." Instead, Jones' lawyer Pete Ross provided the judge and jury with a disposition recorded on June 20, where Weezy refuses to answer questions and (rather amusingly) mocks the proceeding. The court was not very amused.

Now Lil Wayne feels that he could have persuaded the jury differently if just given another chance face-to-face in court - the rapper was set to convince the court that Quincy's documentary on him was defamatory. But because he was sick, he couldn't make it to LA for the proceedings (TMZ points out that he was healthy enough to take his tour bus from Louisiana to Miami to attend the Heat game courtside).

Thanks to the lawsuit loss, Lil Wayne has pushed back the release of his upcoming album "I Am Not a Human Being 2" from Dec. 11 to sometime in early 2013.
