Meanwhile, viewers can also tune in to the U.S. telecast of the "2012 MTV EMA" on Sunday, Nov 11 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2 to see if Rihanna, who leads this year's EMA nominees with seven nods, takes home the prize, the network said in a statement. The 24-hour exclusive will extend to all MTV channels 7 p.m. ET .
Reviewing the song -- "Diamonds" --- MTV said that the song was a "visually arresting experience" and added, "While the song seems to hint at Rihanna's ongoing maturation (and happiness in a new relationship), the video works overtime at creating a mood, one that amplifies the song's laid-back, luxurious sonics."
"While it might not recall some of her more salacious clips, Diamonds definitely proves one old adage to be true: A picture is worth a thousand words," said the network.
Rihanna's forthcoming seventh album, "Unapologetic", will be available in stores from Nov 19.
