Former Manchester United Star Ryan Giggs Apologizes to Brother for Eight-Year Affair with His Wife

Former Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has apologized to his brother Rhodri for carrying on an eight-year affair with his wife, Natasha, reports Daily Mail.

The apology reportedly comes four years after Ryan slept with her for the final time. The 41-year-old Ryan called the 38-year-old Rhodri, and the two are apparently working to repair their relationship.

A source told the Sun newspaper that "Ryan rang Rhodri out of the blue a few weeks ago. Rhodri moved on a long time ago but was adamant Ryan had to make the first move as he was the one who had done wrong."

Daily Mail reports the two brothers were spotted out together on Easter Sunday with friends at the Neighbourhood bar in Manchester. A clubber said, 'They were sitting in the VIP area and looked like they were enjoying each other's company again.'

The affair first came to light in June 2011 when Rhodri's wife Natasha admitted to an eight-year affair with the former Man U star winger. Natasha also said she had an abortion of Ryan's baby just weeks before she got married to Rhodri in Las Vegas.
She decided to go public with the affair in 2011 after Ryan Giggs' controversial attempt to place a gagging order on Big Brother star Imogen Thomas after their six-month affair ended.

Ryan spent £150,000 getting a High Court injunction against her, but his attempt to silence her collapsed after a sustained Twitter campaign that resulted in an MP naming him in Parliament.

In January 2012, Natasha went on to Celebrity Big Brother, where she candidly talked about the affair to her fellow housemates.
